Annual Shoreline Clean Up
Keeping DeGray Lake Beautiful is a Coordinating Partner of the Great Arkansas Cleanup which takes place annually, September through October. The event is the "nation's largest community improvement effort" (Great Arkansas Cleanup). Approximately 300 DeGray Lake enthusiasts remove three tons of trash from the shorelines, campgrounds, and recreation areas.
The Annual Shoreline Clean Up is a community and family event. A picnic style lunch is provided at the Lower Lake Pavilion following trash pickup. There will be drawings for door prizes and "Litter Gitter" awards. Everyone is welcome; individuals, groups, and clubs.
